The FairWind Code of Conduct
 
Fairness is our core corporate value simply because we believe that being fair, honest and straightforward is the most sustainable way of doing business successfully.
Below we outline the principles of our code of conduct, which we generally feel reflect the humanistic values imbedded in all of us.
 
Fair interaction with our business partners, the community and the environment
 
Fair competition is the cornerstone of a well-functioning market place. FairWind will never do business using unfair means – be it any form of corruption, exploitation of workers (underage or other) or usage of illicitly acquired information. Neither will we do business with companies or other entities, which do.
 
As a worldwide operator FairWind takes into account and respects local culture and customs wherever we work. It is our declared goal to involve the local community in our projects whenever possible. It goes without saying that we abide by all relevant local laws & regulations – tax, working restrictions etc.
 
FairWind has based its QSE system on the Danish standard, which is one of the highest in the world. We apply this high standard wherever we work.
 
FairWind ‘s scope of activity is 100% associated to clean energy. As such the environment is our core business. Beyond that we strive to optimize all our processes to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
 
Fairness within
 
We aim to be the best at what we do. Each person working for FairWind is an important part of achieving this success. Consequently, we employ persons exclusively based on their professional and personal qualifications and merits – with no regard to nationality, race or gender.
 
We believe that treating each individual of our organization with respect and fairness is the best way to secure our greatest asset – our people. So we do.
 
Each person working for FairWind is guaranteed a regular assessment and evaluation solely based on his/her work done and his/her direct and indirect contribution to the company.
FairWind will secure that its employees are adequately educated, trained and equipped to fulfill the scope of his/her work.
 
Each employee is encouraged to report irregularities and wrongdoings of any kind – be it by co-workers, managers or external partners. The reporting can of course be done in full confidentiality.
